Encompass: On-Demand Ambulatory and Accessible Transportation for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities

The Greater Hartford Transit District is a proud recipient of a grant from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) to provide the Encompass program. Encompass is a new, expansive, demand-response, 24/7 transportation option for the elderly (60+) and disabled population which aims to fill many of the service area gaps in the Greater Hartford Metropolitan Area (MTA) and surrounding remote rural areas. Encompass partners with M7 transportation to provide a cost effective and efficient transportation service for its passengers.
